So Apple have Just released the 3.0 software for the iPhone – this will bring your iPhone 3G as close as it’s going to get to the iPhone 3GS.
Here are some highlights of what to expect :-
- Copy & Paste Functionality – At Last – this is the best of the bunch for me.
- MMS – Many have complained about the lack of MMS functionality since day one – hopefully, this will satisfy the most MMS hungry users.
- Landscape Keyboard functionality – although, generally the UI is brilliant, one thing that has been annoying is the small keyboard – landscape mode should make it much more usable.
- Spotlight – the much applauded multi search capability.
- Tethering – this enables you to use your iPhones 3G internet connection from your laptop – expect stupidly high prices from O2 though…
